Is there handicap seating?

Yes, we have a section of seating reserved for handicap. It is bleacher style seating. However, there is a section next to it where wheel chairs can be parked and additional chairs are available for family members and those with back issues.

Where do I park?

Parking for the rodeo will be in the pasture directly across the street from the UGA Livestock Instructional Arena. Parking is free for our paying customers. Rodeo security and University of Georgia Police will be on hand to help direct traffic and assist you while you cross the street. There is additional parking for sponsors and handicap closer to the building. The Great Southland Stampede Rodeo does not provide public transportation to the event. In the incident of bad weather, parking will be at UGA’s softball fields off South Milledge Avenue in order to avoid cars getting stuck in the field. Shuttle buses will run a continuous loop, so that you will be able to return to your car as you please. Announcements will be made through our EventBrite email capabilities and through our social media pages in the event that we must implement this parking plan.Thank you for your cooperation!

Are weapons or alcohol allowed?

Due to our location being a part of UGA’s Campus, alcohol is prohibited. We do not sell it, and you cannot bring it. If you are caught with alcohol, you will be escorted from the premises without a refund for your ticket purchase. As for weapons, they must be locked away in your vehicles, even if you do have a conceal and carry permit. Again, we are on UGA's Campus and must abide by the rules that are set.

Are pets allowed?

Only with proper documentation stating that the pet is a service animal.
